Norway, 110'
Johanne's intimate writings about her first love ignite turmoil in her family, prompting her mother and grandmother to reexamine their realities and dreams.
Johanne falls head over heels in love with her teacher, experiencing her first intense crush. To preserve her feelings, she documents her emotions and experiences in writing. When her mother and grandmother get to read what she has written, they initially react with shock at its intimate content but are soon captivated by its literary qualities. As they debate the morality and potential consequences of publishing Johanne's writings, the young woman navigates the contrast between romantic ideals and reality, immersing herself in a journey through the intense emotions of self-discovery, love, and sexuality.
