Ludvig Christian Næsted Poulsen
Ludvig C. N. Poulsen (1996) spent his childhood in a small town on the west coast of Denmark. He began his career as a model before transitioning to become a director and scriptwriter in 2014. Ludvig recently graduated from Super8 film school in 2022.
Ludvig is commited to authenticity and empathy in his storytelling. Drawing from his personal experiences, his films often explore various aspects of LGBT environments and characters. In his work, Ludvig tackles complex characters with nuance and depth, drawing from both personal experience and his extensive research into philosophy and psychology.
Ludvig is unafraid to explore the darker aspects of humanity in his films, using it as a tool to guide and motivate his actors.
While his stories carry significant emotional weight, he expertly balances the serious subject matter with a humorous touch, highlighting the often overlooked moments of levity in difficult situations.
Despite the challenging themes explored in Ludvig’s films, he always leaves the viewer with a sense of hope.
