The Architect

The successful Hamburg architect Georg Winter, his wife Eva and his two grown-up children Jan and Reh travel to attend Georg’s mother’s funeral in a snowy mountain village, where he grew up as a child. At the funeral the mysterious Hannah and her son Alex suddenly appear. She unearths a truth which drags the family into a vortex of desires and confusion. When a snow avalanche cuts the village off from the outside world, there’s no escape...

Ina Weisse
Actress and director Ina Weisse was born in Berlin. After completing her acting education at the renowned Otto Falkenberg Drama School in Munich she performed at theatres such as the Kammerspiele in Munich, the Mannheim Nationaltheater and the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam. She played in several film and TV feature films. Ina Weisse first studied philosophy in Heidelberg and then directing at Hamburg university from 2000 til 2002. In 2002, her short film “Alles Anders” received the FIRST STEPS Award. Her feature film debut “The Architect” premiered at the Hof International Film Festival.
