new acquisition: SAINTS

We are happy to share our new acquisition, Saints, by Mikel Gurrea, starring Victoria Luengo in the leading role. Luengo also appears in Pedro Almodóvar's latest film, Bitter Christmas, and plays opposite Javier Bardem in The Beloved (Cannes Competition 2026). A stylish family drama combined with a building — and singular — heist thriller, the film will have its World Premiere in the Official Selection of the San Sebastián International Film Festival. A step up in ambition — in its visuals, production values, locations, increasingly challenging heists, and the protagonist's emotional odyssey — the Catalan-language Saints ("Sants") stars Luengo as Lali, a drifter and thief. Back in Barcelona, torn between caring for her mother and joining a gang of thieves who steal from churches for a living, she finds her truth along the way. Saints pulled us in and never let go. Mikel Gurrea directs with real warmth and wit, balancing heartfelt moments with a welcome lightness.
