Our new acquisition THE WORLD BEFORE, by Yoon Dan-bi, has its world premiere in Toronto International Film Festival’s Platform section next month before heading to San Sebastian in the New Directors strand. The film is set on a remote Korean island and follows two childhood friends who reunite as teenagers. With the assuring direction of Yoon Dan-bi we dive into this sensitive story, living among the characters as if we were part of the community. As the story unfolds, it only grows more intimate and impossible to look away, a clear sign audiences will be just as captivated as we were.
