It is a film about the resistance to labels, stereotypes, and stigmatized communities. SISTERS: THE SUMMER WE FOUND OUR SUPERPOWERS has just started its festival journey and it already counts with two awards. Now the Family Films Audience Award at the Mill Valley Film Festival. This was the North American premiere of the film, and we're happy to see how well the film translates to American audiences.
